For nearly a decade, he spent his days in the belly of the beast as a corporate recruiting leader where he consistently drove change. Passionate about the intersection of technology and talent, Joel co-founded Newton Software (acquired by Paycor in 2016), a technology company developing cloud-based recruiting solutions for small and medium-sized employers, where he served as the Chief Revenue Officer.
Prior to co-founding SturdyAI, Joel was the Head of Global Sales at Beamery, a provider of candidate relationship management solutions. In addition to his responsibilities at SturdyAI, Joel is the Chief of Staff at Hiretual, the leading AI-based talent data system provider. Joel actively serves as an Advisory Board Member for several other start-ups in the B2B technology industry.
